Ukrainian journalist and serviceman Serhiy Ivanov responded to Vladimir Putin’s recent claims that he is supposedly ready to seek a peaceful resolution to the war, saying there would be no negotiations with Russia.
The Kremlin leader has recently spoken with increasing frequency about the possibility of ending the war through diplomacy and holding talks with Ukraine. Ivanov, however, urged people not to take these statements seriously or lose hope.
“We will kill Putin and bring about the collapse of Russia. You’ll see. Therefore, there is no point in these negotiations. Stay strong. Don’t let yourselves fall apart,” Ivanov wrote on Telegram.
The serviceman also noted that the Soviet Union was significantly more powerful than modern-day Russia, yet it ultimately ceased to exist.
