Russia has intensified its missile terror against Ukraine after failing to achieve its objectives on the battlefield, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said.
According to him, Moscow has deliberately chosen escalation over peace. Russian strikes are intended to intimidate Ukrainians and destroy the country’s energy infrastructure ahead of winter.
“Having failed to achieve its objectives on the battlefield, Russia has turned to state terror and missile terror. We see it in Kyiv and across Ukraine, and we experience it every day,” Sybiha stressed.
The minister also described the Russian attacks as a blow to international diplomatic efforts and an attempt by the Kremlin to derail the peace process.
Meanwhile, Ukraine remains engaged in active dialogue with the United States.
According to Sybiha, Kyiv expects to see renewed momentum in joint peace efforts in the near future.
