A motorcade has arrived at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport to meet U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who are expected to arrive in Russia for talks on ending the war against Ukraine.
The White House representatives are expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during their visit. The parties are set to discuss U.S. proposals for ending the war and possible progress in the peace process.
Following the talks in Moscow, Witkoff and Kushner are scheduled to visit Kyiv on September 6. They are expected to brief Ukrainian officials on the outcome of their meeting with Putin and discuss further diplomatic steps.
