US presidential envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have concluded their visit to Kyiv and departed the Ukrainian capital aboard a special train, according to Ukraine’s state railway operator, Ukrzaliznytsia.

The company thanked the US delegation for the visit and expressed hope that its members would return to Ukraine soon.

Ukrzaliznytsia also jokingly suggested that they expand the itinerary of their next trip “so that other cities can enjoy quiet weekends too.” The remark referred to the temporary lull in attacks on Kyiv during the US negotiators’ stay, while Russian strikes on other regions of Ukraine continued.
