On the evening of September 10, police launched a major operation near the Ukrainian Consulate General in Düsseldorf after receiving information about a possible threat, DPA reported.
The operation began at around 5:30 p.m. The consulate was evacuated, while the building and surrounding area were cordoned off and searched. Police also closed part of a street in the city center, with several police vehicles deployed at the scene.
The threat was not confirmed, and the operation ended at around 7:15 p.m. Police did not disclose further details, including the nature or source of the report.
