American actress Sharon Stone has become a co-curator of Postcode Ukraine: Diary of a Volunteer, a photography exhibition dedicated to Ukrainians’ lives during wartime. The exhibition runs at Westwood Contemporary in Los Angeles from September 11 to 30.
Stone announced her involvement on Instagram, sharing photographs and encouraging support for the initiative.
“I’m proud to be part of Postcode Ukraine: Diary of a Volunteer, on view in Los Angeles through September 30,” the actress wrote.
The exhibition features photographs by Mark Neville, portraying people he has met across Ukraine, their experiences, resilience and everyday lives during the war. The project also highlights Ukrainian volunteers and the assistance they provide during Russia’s invasion.
Presented in collaboration with The Wende Museum, the exhibition includes reflections from its co-curators, including Stone herself. Other contributors include Prince Harry, actress and UNITED24 ambassador Alyssa Milano, British writer and actor Stephen Fry, and Ukrainian writer Andrey Kurkov.
According to Stone, the exhibition explores “how photography can bear witness to life during wartime and connect attention with action.”
The actress concluded her post by encouraging people to learn more about the Postcode Ukraine initiative and donate.
