Ukraine is preparing measures in response to intensified Russian attacks and is holding talks with international partners on additional weapons supplies. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this following a briefing by Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) chief Oleksandr Poklad and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa.
According to the president, strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses remains a top priority. Kyiv is using all available channels to engage with international partners in an effort to secure additional air defense systems and ammunition for F-16 fighter jets.
Meanwhile, efforts to provide Ukrainian combat units with the resources they need are continuing. In particular, the government is working to fulfill requests from corps and brigade commanders that Zelenskyy received during his recent meetings with troops on the front lines.
