Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences over the death of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, calling him “a true defender of freedom.” According to the Ukrainian president, Graham visited Ukraine ten times during the years of the full-scale war and stood with Ukrainians during the most difficult moments.
Zelensky noted that he had maintained regular contact with the senator and that they had met twice in the past week alone.
“America and the world have lost a resolute leader,” the president wrote, expressing condolences to Graham’s family, loved ones, and colleagues.
