A fire broke out at warehouse facilities in the Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast on the evening of September 10 following an attack by Russian strike drones, regional governor Tymur Tkachenko reported.
“To prevent unnecessary speculation and panic: the enemy attack caused a fire at a civilian warehouse,” he stressed.
Firefighters and other emergency services are working at the scene. The situation is under control, and preliminary reports indicate that no one was killed or injured at this location.
Social media reports suggest the large fire can be seen near Hostomel, although authorities have not disclosed the exact location. Officials have also not specified whether the warehouse sustained a direct hit or what was stored inside.
A total of 17 sites were damaged throughout the day in the Bucha, Fastiv and Obukhiv districts, including private homes, vehicles, warehouses, production facilities, a hangar and a veterinary clinic. One person was killed and two others were injured in separate strikes across the region.
