Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia will remain a serious threat to Europe even after the war ends.
According to Zelensky, Putin is building a state modeled on North Korea, where children are prepared for war from an early age and raised to be willing to sacrifice their lives for their leader.
Addressing a meeting of the European Council, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s military and defense technologies already play a crucial role in ensuring security across the continent.
The Ukrainian president also urged European leaders to recognize Ukraine’s defense capabilities in the EU budget for the period beginning in 2028, arguing that current plans fail to adequately reflect Ukraine’s contribution to European security.
