American actor Jesse Eisenberg, best known for his roles in The Social Network and Now You See Me, has quietly visited Ukraine. The two-time Academy Award nominee was spotted at a store in the western city of Lviv.
The unexpected sighting was first shared by a Threads user, who posted a photo with the actor. She said seeing Eisenberg in Lviv felt almost unreal.
It was later revealed that Eisenberg traveled to Ukraine as part of The Campfire Project, a humanitarian initiative carried out in partnership with a Polish charity. The project focuses on supporting Ukrainian children, teenagers, and others affected by the war.
In the coming days, Eisenberg and other volunteers will work in the village of Nahachiv in the Lviv region. The mission includes creative workshops in dance, theater, and visual arts, as well as individual counseling sessions aimed at providing psychological support and helping children recover from the trauma of war.
