Ukraine is facing Russian drone attacks on a scale that no other army in the world would currently be prepared to withstand. This was stated by Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, known by his call sign “Magyar.”
According to him, Ukrainian troops destroy around 300 Russian loitering munitions every day. Meanwhile, Russia regularly launches large-scale missile strikes involving 30 to 50 missiles in a single attack.
Brovdi stressed that the constant use of conventional missile defense systems against such a large number of aerial targets is economically unsustainable.
“No economy in the world could withstand this. The solution lies in new, modern and affordable technologies,” the commander said.
