Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said diplomacy must play a more active role in bringing Russia’s aggression to an end. According to him, achieving a just peace without the participation of the United States is unrealistic.
Sybiha noted that President Volodymyr Zelensky recently held talks with the U.S. negotiating team. Ukraine remains in regular contact with its representatives, and dialogue between the two sides has continued uninterrupted.
“We are fighting for our land and for a just peace. I believe we are now set to see new momentum in peace efforts as the active political and diplomatic phase resumes in many capitals around the world. So stay tuned for further developments,” Sybiha said.
