Ukraine neutralized more than 10,000 Russian troops in a week — Zelenskyy

Ukrainian forces have achieved “important results” in the Lyman sector of Donetsk Oblast, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said following a report from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi.

“The destruction of the occupiers continues, and the set objectives are being achieved,” Zelenskyy said.

He also reported that over the past week, Ukrainian units neutralized 10,660 Russian troops killed and wounded across all areas of active combat. According to Zelenskyy, these losses are backed by video evidence.

The most intense fighting is currently taking place in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Lyman sectors. Ukrainian forces are also carrying out operations in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts.

Zelenskyy added that he and the commander-in-chief had already determined the Ukrainian military’s next active steps.
